Micro phaco is cataract surgery through an extra-small opening using ultrasound to remove the cloudy lens and place an IOL. Daily life looks the same as any cataract: faded newspapers, yellow walls, night glare. You are numbed with drops in most cases, stay awake, and go home the same day. Smaller is not always better for every eye. If a slightly larger micro-incision is safer for your lens choice, that is what we use.
